Moreover, Morgan supports the idea that the survival of our country’s delicate system is dependent on citizens who are knowledgeable enough to participate in it. She has the opportunity to share her passion for civic-minded education at Petal High School in Petal, Mississippi. Morgan teaches 11th grade on-level United States history, Advanced Placement United States history and 12th-grade dual-credit world history.

Morgan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from the University of Southern Mississippi. She served as a long-term substitute while her former theater and speech and debate coach was out on maternity leave. After that year, she worked in theater for several years but never felt fulfilled. Morgan then sought a Masters of the Arts in teaching from the University of Southern Mississippi. She began her teaching career in 2010 and has been in the classroom ever since.

Her greatest contribution is consistently promoting the development of young adults into active and responsible citizens.
