Michelle Roundy teaches English 10, Advanced Placement (AP) Preparation 10 and AP literature and composition at Jackson Hole High School in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She also serves as an instructional coach, supporting teachers in meeting the needs of the school’s diverse learners.
Roundy earned her Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies with a depth in humanities and a minor in Spanish from Oregon State University, graduating magna cum laude. She went on to complete a Master of Arts in teaching with a focus on English and humanities at the same institution, where she was recognized with the Distinguished Student Award.
A National Board Certified Teacher, Roundy is in her 16th year of teaching English language arts in Wyoming. Over the years, she has developed a deep belief that personal responsibility and strong, authentic relationships — between teachers and students and among students themselves — are at the heart of meaningful learning. Grounded in that belief, her teaching centers on building students’ literacy skills, nurturing student responsibility and agency and cultivating genuine curiosity about the world.
