2025 National Teacher of the Year Ashlie Crosson hopes in her year to celebrate teachers and their classrooms that serve as the centers of communities. She believes students need champions who recognize their strengths and see their triumphs as moments of possibility.
Over the next year and beyond, Crosson will harness the opportunity to elevate the teaching profession through speaking engagements, school visits, media appearances and discussions with policymakers across the country.
Crosson’s year of service as the National Teacher of the Year runs July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.
