Dedicated teachers help produce successful students. Great teachers don’t just instruct, they encourage, challenge and inspire students to pursue the knowledge and skills to excel in college, careers and life. Teacher Appreciation Week is an opportunity for CCSSO and the nation to recognize how important teachers are to the future of its students and our society.
As the nation marks Teacher Appreciation Week, CCSSO thanks the National Teacher of the Year Program’s lead sponsor Google for Education for capturing the 2025 State Teachers of the Year as they share their thoughts on the profession. In these videos, they talk about what makes their work special and how teachers can motivate their students and offer insights on the future of education and how teachers can prepare for it.
